I noticed on BBB that this is a common problem. I went in for their free jewelry resortation event, which was fine, and afterward the girl that was helping me asked if she could put my info in their system. She asked a few questions and next thing I know she's telling me I have a $10,000 credit limit with their store if I ever want to buy anything. I had my 2 year old with me and was very distracted. I was like, Whoa, wait, did you just pull my credit??? And she said, no... That they just have their own financing and can give me that information if I ever need it.
The employees here are so friendly! I came by today to have my engagement ring appraised and the gentlemen was informative and very knowledgeable.
A week later a freaking Jared's credit card shows up in my mailbox. Which I promptly called the store to complain about and asked to have cancelled. Sure enough it shows up as a hard pull on my credit report anyway. I'm livid! I'm in the process of trying to buy a minivan for my family and my credit score went down 21 points because of this.
I hope that girl got the commission she was seeking and that being shady was worth it to her!
Great customer service and experience. They really respected my budget and didn't pressure me into buying. I was so happy I came back and purchased the engagement ring I fell in love with for my fiance. The financing aspect was quick and easy with low payments !
I originally went to the Jared up in Kenwood to buy a gold necklace, and had walked out all frazzled and quite frankly, anxious. Unfortunately the gift did not work out and I was so nervous to have to go back so I went to the Crestview Hills location. Patty helped us almost immediately upon entering the store and within 30 seconds of the conversation my mind was at ease and I felt comfortable. I loved that she was knowledgeable, professional yet down to earth, and she was very funny which goes miles in my book. I had read reviews about Jared and a lot of them not so good and after my first experience, was starting to think they might all be right and to never go back to any Jared. My interaction today with Patty erased my doubts and when I go back for any future gifts or jewelry, etc... I will most definitely ask for Patty. I felt like a valued customer today and not just a wallet with money to spend. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
I have always had a great experience coming here! My engagement ring and wedding band were purchased here nearly 10 years ago and they have taken excellent care of me, and my beautiful rings, at my every 6 month inspection. I have lost a couple diamonds over the years and they replaced them without hesitation. I always leave with my rings looking brand new. My husband and I will continue to purchase from Jared's in the future.
