Been getting my brows and my upper lip done here for a while. Figured it was time for a review. The waiting area is very clean and peoducts are displayed nicely. Sometimes it takes the receptionist a while to get to you. I'm very sensitive to wax and after a few times going my skin became use to it. I'm always pleased with my shape and service. Only true complaint is that they don't have loyalty cards. I don't go enough to buy the packages and I don't have that kind of money. $18 is steep for a brow wax and I think a loyalty card would benefit a lot of people.
I'm new to the area so I was seeking a new place to be waxed, I'm pretty picky about my facial waxing especially the shape of my brows. I picked to European wax because of the free brow wax and discount for first time customers for the rest of my face. I have nothing to say but this place is great!!! Whatever wax they use is almost painless and great shape of the brows, I've found my new waxing go to!! Great package deals if you can afford the upfront amount I go quite often so well worth it for me and not to mention open Sat and Sunday. Very professional, clean and welcoming.
That being said, though, I have never had such a painful waxing experience in my life. She "prepped" the skin around it, removing oil and makeup, and applied some other oil to "keep the wax from attaching to my skin and to make sure it only attaches to the hair."

Had a small issue in the past with an employee that no longer works there. The manager handled it WONDERFULLY. This place is awesome, and I'll definitely be returning.
He was right. 2 days later and the skin around my brows is still sensitive to the touch and slightly red. While I am happy with the shape, I will not be returning to this place because of the unnecessary pain. I can go somewhere else for maintenance, get it done cheaper ($18 is steep), and hopefully not leave with tears in my eyes and my skin completely peeled off.
The wax was hotter than expected - I actually flinched when she applied it, and I am not a baby with heat or with pain tolerance. They don't use strips to pull it off, it's just a wax that hardens and they rip it off. The pain was so bad that I could hardly open my eyes afterward. She filled them in with a brown powder and put gel on them, and when I walked out, the receptionist tried to get me to buy the products used. As someone who is extremely low maintenance and uninterested in beauty products, I declined. My husband said it looked as though she ripped my tan off around my brows.
This place has great customer appeal. It's clean, the employees are professional, and they offer a free brow wax on your first visit! I am relatively new to the Northern KY area, so that alone made me come in and try them for the first time. You can't beat free. The girl who did it for me was sweet, understanding that I wanted a low maintenance look, and didn't try to make me deviate from it.
